Want to learn more about BridgePoint?

It’s always awkward to enter an unfamiliar church. Everyone around you seems to know each other and you can feel like you have just crashed a family reunion. We understand those feelings (we’ve felt the same things ourselves!) and we don’t want you to stay there very long. So we have designed a pathway for you to get connected at BridgePoint. It’s pretty simple…

> Attend ConnectionPoint so that you can hear a bit of our story and we can hear yours. ConnectionPoint takes place on the third Sunday of every month in Room B201 (Conference Room) at 11:00 am.
> Join a five-week “On Ramp” group that lets you meet with others new to BridgePoint in a nearby home for five weeks. Our pastors and long-time church leaders, lead these groups, which means you have a great chance to get well connected in a hurry.
> Join one of our year-long Life Groups, which provide a great home-based, small group experience that has you learning from God’s Word and sharing the experiences of life.  Or, if you prefer, try out one on of our on-going Sunday Morning Growth Groups.

To find out specific information about any of the above options or about others way to get connected at BridgePoint, contact the church office: 832.448.1330, or visit our welcome desk located in the main concourse. Our welcome team is glad to answer any questions you might have and point you in the right direction.

Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear?  Where do I park?  Where do my kids go?

We understand the many questions that can come up as you consider visiting a new church.  Below are some answers to some of the more frequently asked questions. Of course, if you have additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the BridgePoint Welcome Center, located under the stairs near the main entrance, when you visit.

What are the service details?
The worship service is at 10:00 am and is held in the Pampell Chapel at Houston Christian High, 2700 W Sam Houston Parkway N Houston, TX 77043. Our worship services include the best of worship music both old and new lead by a praise band.

What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. It's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans, sandals, and even shorts. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where should I park?
You will enter the Houston Christian High School campus off of Kempwood (just east of the Sam Houston Tollway). There is plenty of parking available on the north and west side of the campus. You will find the parking, directions to children’s ministry and directions to the worship service all well displayed as you walk onto the campus.

Where do my children go?
We count it a great privilege to minister to your children on Sunday mornings, especially now, as we meet at Houston Christian High School. Nursery care will be in the Drake Fine Arts Center, PreK in the Metro Gym area, and Grades 1-5 in the Learning Center. Check-in for each of these areas will be well marked when you arrive on the campus with children’s ministry team members eager to meet you and your child when you arrive.

Where do my middle school and high school kids go?
Because this current season of church life is so important and filled with potential, we want our teens to be right in the thick of it.  We are inviting middle school and high school students to be in the worship services with us each Sunday morning. The Youth Ministry schedule beyond that will include a once a month Sunday evening worship gathering, weekly middle school and senior high Bible study on Wednesday evenings, as well as monthly activities for both middle school and senior high students.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by.  We hope the service is a gift to you.

As many of you know, Hurricane Harvey caused our campus to flood. The campus will remain closed until we have completed the restoration process. Our temporary home during this transitional period...
