Want to learn more about BridgePoint?

Welcome

It’s always awkward to enter an unfamiliar church. Everyone around you seems to know each other and you can feel like you have just crashed a family reunion. We understand those feelings (we’ve felt the same things ourselves!) and we don’t want you to stay there very long. So we have designed a pathway for you to get connected at BridgePoint. It’s pretty simple…

> Attend ConnectionPoint so that you can hear a bit of our story and we can hear yours. ConnectionPoint takes place on the third Sunday of every month in Room B201 (Conference Room) at 11:00 am.
> Join a five-week “On Ramp” group that lets you meet with others new to BridgePoint in a nearby home for five weeks. Our pastors and long-time church leaders, lead these groups, which means you have a great chance to get well connected in a hurry.
> Join one of our year-long Life Groups, which provide a great home-based, small group experience that has you learning from God’s Word and sharing the experiences of life.  Or, if you prefer, try out one on of our on-going Sunday Morning Growth Groups.

To find out specific information about any of the above options or about others way to get connected at BridgePoint, contact the church office: 832.448.1330, or visit our welcome desk located in the main concourse. Our welcome team is glad to answer any questions you might have and point you in the right direction.

Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear?  Where do I park?  Where do my kids go?

We understand the many questions that can come up as you consider visiting a new church.  Below are some answers to some of the more frequently asked questions. Of course, if you have additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the BridgePoint Welcome Center, located under the stairs near the main entrance, when you visit.

    When are services?
    Are both services the same?
    What should I wear?

    Where should I park?
    Where do my children go?
Where do my middle school and high school kids go?
Am I expected to put money in the offering?

When are services?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.  They take place in the BridgePoint Worship Center, located just to your right as you enter our main doors.

Are both services the same?
Our worship services are currently the same both hours. You can expect to experience a combination of traditional and modern elements of worship in each service.

What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. It's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans, sandals, and even shorts. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where should I park?
We have designated premium parking spots for our visitors that are only a few steps from our main entrance. We also have a great crew of cheerful and enthusiastic parking greeters who will quickly and efficiently guide you through the parking process. Simply turn into our driveway and someone will be standing there to guide you. We offer both parking lot and parking garage options, as well as premium spots for handicapped parking. Don’t be fooled if you see cars parked on the street, we have plenty of spots in our lot or garage for everyone.

Where do my children go?
The BridgePoint Children's Ministry is the perfect place for your children, infants through fifth grade, to go while you attend the service. The Nursery & Preschool Welcome Center is located centrally, in the main first floor hallway, just past the elevators and includes children through Kindergarten. Your children will be checked in, and you will receive a claim tag which you will need in order to pick up your child. For the safety and security of your child, it is important that you keep track of your claim tag. This helps us know that you are the person authorized to pick up your child.  The 1st-5th Grade Children's Welcome Center is located just down the hall from the Nursery & Preschool area.

Where do my middle school and high school kids go?
The BridgePoint Student Ministry offers various activities for Students from 6-12 grade. Our aim is to engage in personal relationships with students, point them to the Gospel of Christ, and allow it to change their lives. And, we have lots of fun along the way! The student ministries room is upstairs at the south end of the building. Come check us out... we would love for you to join in on the fun!

Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by.  We hope the service is a gift to you.
