Worship gatherings at BridgePoint provide an opportunity for followers of Jesus to engage thoughtfully and meaningfully with God, and are great times of energizing and challenging one another to live for Christ in daily life. Following the instruction of Colossians 3:16, which says “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom, as you sing songs and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your heart to God,” we use a variety of music in our gatherings to direct our minds and hearts to the glory of God, revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the teaching of the Word of God is central in Christian worship, so every other element of our worship gatherings aims to prepare hearts and minds to encounter God in the Bible through the weekly teaching of our Senior Pastor. It is not unusual in our services to hear lots of enthusiastic, God-centered singing, corporate prayers of confession and devotion, personal testimonies to God’s grace, pointed dramas, and readings from God’s Word.

The Choir @ BridgePoint
The Choir @ BridgePoint enhances corporate worship gatherings with regular anthems and presentations, and provides seasonal musicals and specials. If you love to sing and have had any choir in your background, this is a great way for you to get plugged in and serve!
D’Vine Life Players
The D’Vine Life Players are a group of talented performers who enrich corporate worship through occasional dramatic presentations and special seasonal productions. With engaging material that causes audiences to ponder afresh truth from God’s Word, this ministry is great for those who love drama and love the Lord.
BridgeKids JAM - Children’s Choir
Of special note is BridgeKids JAM (Just Add Music), which practices on Sunday nights throughout the school year. A special year-end musical is a highlight for the children and allows some kids to perform specific dramatic roles. In addition, children’s choir dots the Sunday morning worship schedule, allowing the whole body to see young faith at work.
AMP Team
The AMP (Audio/video/lighting, Media & People) Team plays a vital role in our worship ministry at BridgePoint. The team is currently responsible for all sound and video applications in our weekly gatherings, as well as providing production assistance for a number of special church activities and mid-week events. Their aim is to amplify the message of Christ by effective use of technology while developing relationships. If you're interested in serving behind the scenes with a technical bent, there’s a place for you on the AMP Team!
Praise Team
Weekly worship gatherings are led by our Praise Team, which is made up of a full band and a team of gifted singers. From energetic contemporary praise to classic hymns of the faith, the Praise Team leads the congregation at BridgePoint in authentic worship to God.
