Women are a dynamic part of our community at BridgePoint. Through our women's ministry we hope to see every woman experiencing spiritual growth, deep friendship, and discipleship investment.
• Biblical teaching that is accurate, clear, and relevant.
• Rich fellowship where women support, encourage, and challenge one another.
• Intentional discipleship where grace, truth, and wisdom are invested and received.
• Gospel outreach that invites, welcomes, and reaches out to non-believing women.
• Opportunities to serve so that each woman is recognizing, using, and sharpening her gifts.

WOMEN'S FALL RETREAT
The fall retreat is a time where we will be refreshed by worship, teaching, discussion and fun. There is plenty of unscheduled time too, to catch up on rest, connect with new and long-time friends, take a walk or choose from a variety of optional activities.
Delight - Delighting in the Lord, Delighting in Your Season and Delighting in the Word
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
What do we as women have a tendency to run to for delight? Does this ultimately bring joy? What would it look like to run to the Lord for delight instead? Colleen Searcy will show us that loving God’s Word and engaging it personally is essential for real joy.
November 16-18, 2018
Round Top Retreat Center near Round Top, TX, about 1½ hours from the church
$150 per person | *NO FRIDAY MEAL will be served at the retreat but you can eat on the way or bring a meal to eat there
Registration deadline: October 28
Speaker: Colleen Searcy
In the early years of ministry, God kindled within Colleen a deep affection for studying and teaching the scriptures. She deeply desires to see women anchor their hope in the God of the Bible as they get to know Him through the study of His Word. Colleen has been teaching Bible studies in the Dallas area for several years and she speaks at women’s retreats and conferences throughout the year. She serves as Minister to Women at Church at the Cross in Grapevine, Texas. Her husband Wes is president of NEXT Worldwide, a mission organization that mobilizes high school and college students to plant churches around the world. She loves being the mom of her two teenage boys, Sam and Tate.
Worship Leader: Anita Schulte
Anita Schulte has spent her life all over the world, from South Asia to the Middle East to Michigan to Houston, where she now lives with her husband Peter. She is a Registered Nurse currently pursuing her Master’s in Nursing Education at UH, but her other love is music. Anita has been singing since before she could talk and has been playing guitar and writing songs since age 13. In 2016 she released her first album of original songs under the name Anita Ranae. She loves to help people of all ages and cultures worship God with one voice. She has a soft spot for lyrically rich hymns, string arrangements, and a good cup of chai.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
DATE: Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday beginning September 12
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world
influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the
course of history. That's why we meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of
motherhood. We rally together to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find our identity in
Christ by journeying alongside one another.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through
kindergarten. Join us as we meet every other Wednesday from 9:30 - noon to build friendships,
hear from speakers, enjoy creative activities and serve our community through service projects.
We would love to have you! We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
